Doctor Who Magazine is an official magazine about Doctor Who. There are a few others as well (Doctor Who Adventures for kids, Doctor Who DVD Files with collectable DVDs, etc) but DWM is the best thing in the world (except maybe Nando’s and food which requires you to ‘pierce film lid’), has been around since 1979, and (my favourite statistic in the world:) sells more than NME. (Admittedly they’re not really competing for the same audience, and it’s not a fair comparison because DWM is a monthly print magazine while NME is weekly and multi-platform, but NEVER MIND THAT BECAUSE DOCTOR WHO IS OFFICIALLY MORE POPULAR THAN MUSIC ITSELF.)
Anyway I first worked for the magazine in 2008, when I was 18, and I have done about 150 pieces for them since then including interviews, visits to the set, features, and previews.
